TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RESERVATION & PAYMENT

 Reservation should be made at least 50 days prior to departure date. Late reservation maybe accepted up to 10 days before departure subject to availability and surcharge. A non-refundable deposit $300 per person is required at time of reservation. Balance of payment must be received by VCIT no later than 30 days prior to departure.  Failure to comply may result in automatic cancellation of reservation and forfeit of deposit.  Deposit is fully refundable if tour does not materialize due to under number of participants. For late reservation, full payment is due at time of reservation. Refund will be made if reservation is unable to confirm.

CANCELLATION  PENALTY

For cancellation noticed received 30 days prior to departure, a full refund less deposit will be assessed. Cancellation made between 20 to 29 days before departure will receive a penalty of 25% of total tour cost. Tour cost will be 100% non-refundable if cancellation is made within 20 days before departure. No refund will be made for unused travel services exchangeable for alternative arrangements. All air tickets are non-refundable, valid only for the flight and /or dates purchased and cannot be exchanged or transferred.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

VCIT strongly recommends our tour participants to purchase Trip Cancellation, Medical, Baggage and supplier default insurance to protect their investment and travel plans.

TOUR COST INCLUSION (FULL PACKAGE)

Full package tour costs are quoted based on a minimum of 10 passengers.  Tour costs include round trip transpacific economy class airfare, China domestic transportation, airport/hotel transfers, hotel accommodation (based on double occupancy), professional as specified in specific itineraries, meals and evening entertainment as specified, and handling of one piece check-in luggage up to 20kg within China.

TOUR COST EXCLUSION

Any airport taxes, China visa fee, any travel insurance, charges for excess baggage, laundry, liquor, telephone bills and all other expenses of personal nature are not included in Full Package tour cost.

 TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

It is tour participant¡¯s own responsibility to possess a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond tour return date. VCIT will only act on your behalf to obtain china Visa provided all require documents are received at VCIT office 40 days prior to departure.

TOUR OPERATOR¡¯S LIABILITY

China international Travel Service (Vancouver) Ltd. is a tour operator licensed in British Columbia (Registration No.3351-5). We make arrangements with airlines, hotels, ground transportation companies, cruise lines and other independent parties to provide you with the travel services you had purchased. Although we selected our suppliers with great caution, we have no control over them and, therefore, cannot be responsible for their acts or omissions. We act solely as agent for these independent suppliers; therefore, we shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment of any nature or kind whatsoever, to you or your traveling companions or group members, resulting from the acts, omissions or negligence of anyone other than us or our employees acting properly on our behalf. Suppliers¡¯ liabilities  is also be limited by law, tariffs or conditions on tickets and in particular you should read and understand the limitations of liability set forth in the airline ticket or other documentation. We reserve the right to cancel a tour or modify the travel service you have purchased by substituting services, varying the itinerary, changing the cruise ship or otherwise. In all cased you will receive a comparable or superior product. In the event of a cancellation, our liability will be limited to the purchased price of the travel service only.

Also, we shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, to you or your traveling companions or group members resulting form events beyond our or a supplier¡¯s reasonable control including, but not limited to, wars, blockages, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts or restrains imposed by government authorities.

We reserve the right to decline or retain any person as a member of the tour should such person¡¯s visa application is rejected or such person¡¯s deportment, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of the other members of the tour.

 SERVICES STANDARD

We have made every attempt to describe the travel service in this brochure as accurately as possible. You should be aware that each country has particular feature which may or may not appeal to you including weather, food, local customs, etc. there may be different living standard, practices and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation at your destination. Such standards may or may not be comparable to those you would expect from similar establishments in North America. Note that all hotels undergo routine maintenance and renovations. If we are advised of any significant change which may affect your enjoyment of the package, we will do our best to inform you in advance. By purchasing the particular travel service you have selected, you are deemed to have made all reasonable inquiries about the travel service.

 Your reservation with us confirms that you have read, understood and agreed to each and all of the above conditions and limits on responsibility.
